Lead learning improvement consultant specialising in improving the provision of colleges and work-based providers, particularly by observing, training and developing staff and managers. With the new EIF from September 2019 it has never been so important to present your college confidently in short and long inspections, with SARs, QIPs and position statements that ensure inspectors do not miss your strengths. The SARs of those I have worked with have been commended by Ofsted & the FE Commissioner. Clients with grade 4s have improved to grade 2s and others achieving grade 1s for leadership and management. Some twenty years inspection experience includes 15 years as a full-time inspector and five years as a part-time inspector. Having been twice graded outstanding by the FEFC I fully understand how to be outstanding for any aspect, having done it myself and having seen how others have achieved it. I can offer a full range of improvement support including mock inspection, health checks, SAR development & validation, critical friend, preparing for inspection, developing quality improvement systems, subcontracting systems, identifying & sharing good practice so it is implemented, providing governor training, training in equality and diversity, safeguarding, British values, Prevent, improving English & maths or providing seminars in areas such as improving teaching and learning and attendance of learners. I only work with hand picked consultants whose work makes a difference. All work is confidential and everyone I have worked with has found it a worthwhile experience representing good value. I help prepare good colleges for short inspections and merged colleges to integrate well, ensuring that my all clients are ready to do well in inspection.
