My Tech Lead (TL) role provides technical leadership and mentoring responsibilities for a team of Solutions Architects. TLs are highly experienced technical generalists with a strong industry focus. As a seasoned Industry SA, TLs understand technology, trends, and how to apply technology to drive business outcomes and successful critical engagements. They look outwards at the industry strategic customers to complement the field organisation. They prioritise industry-specific, long-term and strategic opportunities.As a Tech Lead I am peered with Business Development Managers to provide technical leadership needed to deliver industries’ strategic and GTM goals. TLs deliver technical impact by providing technical vision, removing adoption blockers, and supporting their respective team to create industry-specific GTM technical plays. It promotes high-quality industry artifacts and consistency across all industries. TLs deliver business impact by working with Business Development, Field Teams, Partner Teams and other members of the wider Tech Team to take high-level strategic initiatives; and support the SAs to create GTM assets, including taking ownership of technical assets as part of this GTM. They will accelerate the process of creating these assets, including ensuring the business drivers and goals are aligned to solutions. These assets will assist in positioning AWS for long-term industry leadership in respective industries. Being the focal point of the industry community, Tech Leads look to share lessons learned and deliver deep dives to scale solutions and approaches to community. They scale their industry influence through a \"unified voice\" approach that consolidates customer needs across EMEA. They represent an aggregated voice of the technical field; they communicate reporting assets to the community and own technical operational cadences for the industry verticals; MBRs, QBRs, technical industry trends and initiatives.
