Experienced Quantity Surveyor with a demonstrated history of working in the real estate industry, focused primarily on refurbishment schemes. Recent work with Quartermile has also offered experience of high end new-build housing, which has been equally as rewarding as previous (and current) refurbishment schemes. A background in Estimating has provided a solid base for take-off and procurement skills to be built from, allowing for attractive packages to be issued to subcontractors and apples-to-apples quotations received, providing greater cost assurance across the board. A preference for site based working to allow for close communication with the Construction and Design Teams, leading to further cost security for packages let and effective managing of contracts from initial tendering through to final account stages.
