ABOUT PHIL BROWN
With a healthy appetite for all things standards and regulations related to flat glass, I currently wear two hats at Pilkington United Kingdom, part of the NSG Group. One hat is as Technical Advisory Service Manager for the UK and Ireland, the other is as European Regulatory Marketing Manager. I don\'t have a big enough head to wear two hats at the same time, though! I enjoy being part of our UK Marketing team, as we cover a wide range of activities from product launches and specifications to engagement with industry bodies promoting glass as an essential material for decarbonising the built environment by 2050. I particularly enjoy running our Product Knowledge training courses, passing on knowledge to and interacting with our customers. Outside of work, you can often find me playing vinyl and reading newspapers – two activities my children keep reminding me people were doing not just in the last century, but the one before that. I\'m not a dinosaur – I do embrace tech, including LinkedIn.
