Verifying the conformance of production products is a critical activity in every industry. Efficient and effective product & production design, supported by inspection (where required) are key to having confidence in the products an organisation delivers. I have spent my career working across these areas, aiming to ensure we have the right level of confidence at the right cost to the business. In my current role I am responsible for leading the Rolls-Royce group wide manufacturing product verification strategy and metrology community to ensure we have the right capability for today and into the future. Experienced in a wide range of subjects fundamental to product verification including-APQP/PPAP including DFMEA, PFMEA DfX etc-Inspection Planning-Dimensional Metrology (Gauging, CMM, non-contact, large volume etc)-Machine Vision Systems -Uncertainty & MSA-Product Definition & GD & T-Model Based Definition/Enterprise-Skill Development and Assurance-International Standards
