Ever since I was 9 years old I\'ve always had a passion for the marine sciences and saw the importance of conserving our aquatic resources. With my love for the ocean, the natural progression was to become a SCUBA diver.My diving career has taken me all over the world having trained with individuals in the top of the industry. While I have attained many certifications in my progression, I consider my relationships to be the most valuable in my constant quest for self-improving.This adventure has taken me to San Francisco State University as I earn my Masters of Science in Ecology, Evolution and Conservation Biology under the advisement of Luiz Rocha at the California Academy of Sciences. My current research focuses on the community structure, interactions, and speciation of mesophotic (30-150m) coral reef fishes. Ongoing projects include biodiversity assessments (such as the description of new species) and investigating ecological patterns of anthropogenically impacted reefs.Thank you for viewing my profile!

   I organize and coordinate life-saving bone marrow and stem cell donations for patients with blood cancers. After a match has been identified, I communicate with potential donors to inform them of the donation process and overcome any barriers to donating. Furthermore, scheduling donor\'s medical clearance exams, liaisoning with third party exam sites, coordinating travel for donation surgery, and overall adverse event management.About Be The Match: We Save Lives Through Cellular Therapy.Be The Match®, operated by the National Marrow Donor Program® (NMDP), is a nonprofit organization that’s dedicated to helping every patient get the life-saving transplant they need.
