Perform calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting on GC-MS systems to deliver high-precision data for organic contaminants (PAHs, PCBs, RFA, CB). Conduct method development and statistical validation (LOD/LOQ, MDL,%RSD) for non-routine sample matrices. Prepare standards, solvents, and controls; interpret complex datasets to ensure data quality in accordance with ISO 17025 and experienced working under MELCCFP regulatory framework. Investigate instrument issues, adapt analytical approaches for atypical samples, and participate in corrective action. Developed SOPs and managed LIMS workflows to ensure traceability and sample integrity. Interpreted results using standard curves, spike recovery, and statistical tools for MDL determination. Lead method improvements to optimise lab efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Train and mentor junior analysts, fostering a strong culture of precision and accountability. Manage high-priority rush analyses(8–24hr TAT) without compromising data integrity.
