ABOUT DAVE BELL

I\'m a Senior Environmental Specialist in the Environmental Remediation group at Teck Trail Operations. I\'ve focused my career on contaminated site investigation and remediation, and now address historical smelter contamination in my home town of Trail, BC. I\'m a Professional Agrologist and have worked in a wide range of disciplines in environmental consulting. I started work in 2002 as an emissions tester – climbing smokestacks across Alberta and northern BC. I\'ve also applied my skills as a LEED AP developing sustainability and green building strategies for residential development projects. As a representative of Teck Trail Operations, I have established strong relationships with the community and environmental regulators. In my previous roles as a consultant I provided service to a wide range of clients including property developers, lenders, municipalities, First Nations and industry in Western Canada. I\'m humble, driven, detail oriented and adaptable and enjoy working with interdisciplinary project teams in fast paced environments. In my spare time you’ll find me driving my kids to activities, skiing, camping, golfing or being overly competitive while playing old-timers hockey.
