Presently, building an engineering department at NLCe to support the whole energy portfolio. Specifically, engaged in supporting Business Development, Sales, Legal, and Operation Departments. Previously, a Foundry Process Manager at Watts Water Technologies, enjoying the challenges of improving the productivity and quality of numerous silicon bronze valve products cast at the worlds newest and most advanced lead free foundry, located in Franklin NH. Additionally, supporting production with a leaded bronze foundry at the same campus. This vertically integrated facility allows close connection between the foundry, machining, building and testing of these products.Previously, Vice President & CTO at Eikos Inc. for 16 years. Primary inventor of Invisicon® technology and intellectual property for: transparent conductive coatings containing single wall carbon nanotubes, EMI shielding, and electronics. Development of products exploiting advanced optical and electronic materials, e.g. polymers, composites, carbon allotropes, carbon nanotubes, graphene.Managed >50 government and commercial contracts as Principal Investigator with corresponding expertise in contract administration of product development efforts. Lead engineer at Sensiv Inc. and Foster-Miller Inc, for product design of fiber optic sensors and polymeric materials with unique optical and electrical properties.B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Massachusetts, concentration in the synthesis and characterization of conducting polymers under the direction of Frank Karaz Authored patents, managed trademark and patent prosecution, protection, and licensing: 14 issued patents,(42 pending), 42 publications and conference presentations; numerous awards from NASA, the Wall Street Journal, and two R & D100 awards and multiple commercial licenses.Build out of chemical processing facilities, pilot production lines, R&D laboratory, and established business processes.
