About Pranav Ghildiyaal

Security professional with an experience of over 2 years in enhancing security posture of mid to large sized enterprises. I am a Cybersecurity graduate student at New York University graduating in May 2024, and a former Information Security Intern at Steve Madden, NY. My cybersecurity journey has been diverse and enriching, allowing me to participate in a variety of industries and roles - From serving as a Security Engineer Intern to participating in internal audit projects as a Penetration Tester, providing hands-on technical support on helpdesk, to contributing as an InfoSec intern in the SOC. In my recent internship at Steve Madden Ltd. I Initiated impactful procedures such as automating threat response, reducing error rates, integrating MFA/SSO with Azure AD and worked on various SIEM, IDR/XDR technologies. I gained a valuable experience of working in the dynamic retail IT infrastructure. I am interested to work in the domain of Cloud Security, Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Threat Analysis, Malware Analysis and Application Security. I am equally excited about the opportunities to explore other domains and apply my skills. I am always eager to learn and grow professionally and I believe that I can bring value to any organization through my technical, managerial and communication skills.
