My deep background in the aircraft/aerospace industry, including leading large, diverse teams and directing key aspects of large complex programs, is complemented by industry-transferable skills.    OVERVIEW:Manage operations support and product development for the design and manufacturing of the Global Wing. Lead, train, and mentor a large, global team of Design, Analysis and Liaison Engineers (USA, Canada, and India), with 8 direct reports and a total team of 54. Report to the Director of Engineering, Aerostructures Design & Operations Support. Plan and manage a ~$5.2M annual budget. Identify and drive product changes, with a focus on production easement, unit cost reduction, and product improvement goals. Deploy continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives to meet/exceed all KPIs.HIGHLIGHTS: Achieved greater than a 92% average across all engineering balanced scorecard Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the past 3 consecutive years. Contributed to over $250K in savings on a per-shipset basis in 2023 through leading the ideation and implementation of engineering BOM cost reduction opportunities. Spearheaded a 6% increase on Employee Engagement scores in 2023 within the Engineering organization, reversing previously low scores. Instituted multiple strategies that included resolving quality issues, improving engineering processes, employee recognition, workplace flexibility, and multiple others. Maintained adherence to budget spend and headcount profile for a cross-functional team of 54 engineers across 4 sites (Red Oak, Montreal, Toronto, Bengaluru). Selected for the company’s “High Potentials” program (3% of all employees), representing a year-long program that provided exposure to senior executives. Selected as a Steering Committee Member in 1/2024. Worked jointly with an external consulting firm to lead the implementation of efficiency improvements across site operations.
