ABOUT PAWEŁ FORNALSKI

For over 27 years, I am shaping Polish ecommerce. In 2016, eCommerce Magazine called me the unofficial ‘Godfather of Polish ecommerce’, and I won the top award in the eKomersy competition for my contribution to the industry.I’m the co-founder of IAI Group for 23 years CEO, now Executive Chairman and Board Member, responsible for strategy and vision. From to 2022. In IAI, I\'ve created IdoSell Poland’s leading SaaS platform for online stores, powering medium and large businesses with over PLN 22 billion in annual GMV.I also built IdoBooking the most popular SaaS solution for managing accommodation bookings via channels like Booking.com, Airbnb, and Expedia—designed for property owners and managers in the direct booking model.Since 2011, I’ve been developing IdoPay (via IdoPayments sp. z o.o.), offering online payments via banks, BLIK, and since 2019, card payments (VISA, MasterCard) as a PCI DSS Level 1 certified Payment Facilitator.Beyond IAI, I actively invest as a Business Angel/VC in ecommerce support tools and D2C ventures, helping startups scale, build strategy, and reach profitability. I’ve invested in 12+ projects. Notably, I support TakeDrop a dropshipping platform and incubator, and IMKER a self-publishing platform for creators of books, courses, and e-learning content. In 2025, I was named Business Angel of The Year by COBIN Angels and became honorary member of COBIN.I am programming since 1990 and in web and Internet since 1997. Before IAI, I worked as a freelance programmer. I earned my Master’s and Doctoral degrees from the Faculty of Computer Science at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. Early on, I also created popular web services and communities, such as Hip-Hop.pl, which attracted a huge audience.
