ABOUT PAUL FAZZONE
With extensive leadership experience in all aspects of software and SaaS product development, go-to-market strategies, and operations, I have successfully created winning enterprise products in new categories at early-stage startups and guided complex software portfolios to category leading positions at a Fortune 500 enterprise software company. As a results-driven product executive, I have a proven track record of ramping new enterprise products and overcoming complex transformation challenges.In my most recent role, I spearheaded VMware\'s company-wide business transformation, shifting the portfolio business model towards Subscription and SaaS and measuring results in ARR and consumption. This effort was pivotal to the Broadcom acquisition and integration planning, which concluded in November 2023. VMware’s mission is to empower businesses by providing enterprise solutions that address the challenges of multi-cloud environments and distributed operations, allowing customers to focus on their core objectives.Since joining VMware through the acquisition of Nicira in August 2012, I have held key leadership roles in developing critical components of the company’s product portfolio, including Network Virtualization (NSX) and Modern Application Development (Tanzu). My career, grounded in a Computer Science background, includes senior technical and management roles at Nicira, Cisco, and Chase Manhattan Bank, where I have consistently driven innovation and growth.
