About Peyton Ripley

After a brief stint in the music business (a passion I still carry with me today), I became a recruiter for IT professionals. Although I am not an engineer or programmer, most of the people I placed in new jobs were very technical. This opened my eyes to how interesting and ever-changing technology can be.My first foray into IT sales led me to Dell. There I not only learned the consumer side of IT but the enterprise side as well. After 6 1/2 years at Dell I made the exciting move to VMware. VMware is not only a transformative company for its\' technology, but also in the way it cares deeply about people. VMware has allowed me to help so many customers in verticals like healthcare, education, finance, and more.I love to whiteboard with customers and talk about their problems and desired outcomes. Now in the application division of VMware, Tanzu, I get to help customers with transforming the way they build, run, and manage applications.
