About Peyton Lassiter
As a futurist, trusted advisor, pre-sales and electrical engineer with 30+ years transforming DoD and enterprise IT, I specialize in bridging legacy environments to future-ready architectures at massive scale. From 2008–2011, I led the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ landmark A76 Enterprise IT infrastructure build-out supporting over end users across over 1600 sites to include the Vicksburg and Portland major data centers — standardizing end-user and enterprise compute, network, and storage, Operations, Help-Desk, Engineering, and Architecture across every division, district, lab, and center Corps-Wide. The irony? Some of my Infrastructure Division team members and OEM partners that supported me later became the World Wide Technology USACE account team which I now support and advise every single day here at World Wide. Even more humbling, some of my prior Division team members are key leaders driving the USACE-IT CASTLE-NET mission today (my career success is a direct result of their mission dedication and success). Right after completing the USACE A76 IT build-out, I led the standup of the ERDC Research Development Environment (RDE) network on the DREN across all labs as Deputy CIO, then returned to USACE ACE-IT to drive the first ACE-IT managed enterprise application modernization (PROMIS/P2) from 20••••16 — leveraging the very Sun Microsystems and Oracle skills and technologies I taught nearly two decades earlier. Prior to retiring from ERDC in 2019 and joining World Wide, I led the CSSP Infrastructure stand-up for the High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP). Full circle. I’ve worn many hats along the way. This is my story.Today I help enterprise clients modernize with AI, storage, networking, and resilient hybrid multi-cloud architectures driving GP and net contribution for my account with my decades of customer relationship building and experience. My question each day is: “What becomes possible when we stop accepting the status quo?”
