ABOUT PETROULA LAIOU
I am a Research Fellow in clinical neuroscience and predictive modelling at King’s College London. My work lies at the crossroads of AI, neuroscience, and mathematical modelling. I analyze brain signals and develop AI algorithms to forecast seizures in people with epilepsy. I have a background in mathematics (BSc), computational physics (MSc), and signal analysis (PhD). I enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams and translate academic research into real-world solutions that benefit people’s lives.
