ABOUT PETRA SMITH
Those who work together win together! I have worked as a Clinical Audiologist in the Hearing Health Care industry for over 30 years. I have had the privilege of working alongside some of the most dedicated and hard working families and professionals, who have helped shape my belief in team work. Working with children, particularly pre-school children, encourages a healthy lesson in the appreciation of and respect for different learning styles. Teachers always learn from their students! I grew up in Wales and attended high school in Porthmadog, located in of the world\'s most beautiful mountain ranges, Snowdonia. I am a fluent Welsh speaker and worked for many years as a Speech and Language Therapist in North Wales, before reloacting toCanada for 25 years. Now seeking a new role in the East Midlands, I’m excited to offer a high level of clinical and organizational skill, dedication and adaptability to the right role. I am passionate about health, education, helping enhance human resilience and the sustainability of our planet and am able to offer strong leadership, management and teaching skills.
