I\'ve learned, though a progressive career, that the people in a business are what makes the business successful. Many others will say that it\'s profits or customer satisfaction, but it really all starts with the staff. If you have a truly engaged staff who are happy in their roles, it can positively affect the entire atmosphere – including how much money customers are willing to & Walgreens was going through renovations in 2018. I built a team that became the for business continuity and overcoming operational challenges. The team was thoroughly engaged in procedures and we consistently exceeded all metrics put before us. Eventually, other districts took notice of our success and flew managers in to observe and learn from the traction we were gaining. I taught at least 6 store managers and their teams in separate 6-week programs about the new programs that we\'d rolled out. I\'ve had the distinct opportunity to be the leader in performing team interviews for a new Beauty Consultant Program I was championing. Once the right candidates were chosen and onboarded, we all worked together to build a positive working atmosphere that had a marked impact on customer engagement and bottom-line profitability. Directed and planned a number of successful high profile events including Komen, JDRF, Muscular Dystrophy, and the Women\'s Expo by building sustained relationships with organizers, participants, and performing community outreach. In 2019, I led my team to exceed sales by implementing new goals while taking over the busiest store in the district. I was nominated and won the 2018 Employee Engagement Award at Walgreens.
