ABOUT PETRA KNAUL POLSON

I am an experienced global value chain leader with a passion for creating long-lasting, win-win relationships with key suppliers and customers. I love working with domestic and global companies and I am fluent in German and in Mandarin Chinese. I am known for creating seamless workflows with key suppliers and partners. I have built a company and procurement function from scratch and led many continuous improvement projects. I am a Harvard certified negotiator and have compiled and negotiated many different kinds of supply chain and company contracts, including joint ventures and technology agreements. In November 2025, I earned my certification in Disruptive Strategy by Harvard Business School Online.Before moving to the United States, I worked in Asia Pacific first as a finance person, then as an operations manager. Most recently, as a Portland-based procurement director, I led a team of 35 people. I am known as someone who can create an inclusive environment where others can strive to do their best work. I love new challenges and new ways of doing things.
