   I built Series Homes because the most broken part of American housing isn’t affordability, it’s classification.We built the world’s most sophisticated credit system and then forgot to teach it what a duplex is.Five million small multifamily properties sit inside the same regulatory bucket as single-family homes but transact with the opacity of commercial assets. They qualify for 0–5% down, 30-year fixed financing, yet most never reach the buyers who can actually use it. The data exists. The rules exist. The infrastructure to connect them doesn’t.That missing layer is where Series operates. We map the actual underwriting logic of housing finance: rent schedules, occupancy rules, debt-to-income thresholds, zoning compliance, directly onto listings. Once a property is expressed through those constraints, liquidity returns. The buyer who can close sees it; the buyer who can’t, doesn’t. Fallout disappears. Approval becomes distribution.Every major consumer platform in housing starts with inventory and ends with qualification. Series inverts that. We start with the rules that govern solvency and build outward: qualifying the asset, then the borrower, then the transaction. That sequencing is what the market’s been missing.Housing doesn’t need disruption. It needs comprehension. And the first company to make housing finance machine-readable will own the next cycle of American homeownership.
