About Peter Vanwylen
I am an analyst / researcher / problem solver / technologist with experience in education management, nonprofits, analytics, machine learning, and consulting. United InfoLytics works to ensure small to medium sized organizations have access to the analytics and data science that will save money, make staff more effective, and take their impact to the next level.I work with all things Quantitative (data science, modeling, statistics, organizational measurement, mapping), Technology (integration, platform analysis, custom applications), with Education (former math teacher and instructional coach), and Community Development (I care deeply about under-resourced neighborhoods). In my work life, this means problem solving at the intersection of tech, data, and empowerment to help organizations improve and people and neighborhoods flourish.Other algorithm and data interests: applying machine learning and AI to asteroids and comets, mostly in orbit improvement, isolated tracklet arc extension, identifications, and active asteroids. The solar system we’ve been given is absolutely amazing, and I like the little chunks of it best.
