ABOUT TYLER PETERSON

Tyler joined Colliers International in 2013 as an Associate of Retail Services, servicing major retail clients in the Tampa Bay area. Tyler works together with accomplished real estate professional, Jim Kovacs, and focuses on the team’s Tenant Representation clients. Since 2013, Tyler has facilitated over $500 million in Tenant Representation leasing and sale transactions.Tyler\'s current clients include: Floor & Decor, Puttshack, Dutch Bros, Kohl’s, Cooper’s Hawk, Banfield Pet Hospital, Rack Room Shoes, Panera Bread, Slim Chickens, First Watch, Blaze Pizza, Mission BBQ, Five Guys, Harbor Freight, Pearle Vision, and more. Tyler Peterson began his career in commercial real estate in 2010 after graduating from the University of Central Florida with a dual degree in Finance and Real Estate. He immediately began to apply his education in the area of retail leasing and quickly developed a retail leasing portfolio consisting of more than 1 million square feet of anchored and unanchored retail property. Tyler worked with Real Property Specialists, Inc. while still attending college at the University of Central Florida. Upon graduating, he began a full time career in real estate and held the position of Senior Associate. His duties included underwriting potential acquisitions and development, landlord and tenant representation, buyer and seller representation, along with assisting and training new interns coming into the industry. Tyler has worked with landlords such as Kimco, Unicorp, Benbrooke, PMAT, Trax Capital, Epic Theaters Development and many more.Tyler has his CCIM designation, is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and is VP Urban Land Institute YL Tampa Bay. In 2015, he as awarded Colliers International\'s Rising Star Award.
