   I am leading the integration of the latest sustainability features and specifications at all IKEA stores being established on the Indian market since 2020 (Bangalore, Mumbai & Delhi)- including on the waste management set-up, procurement of renewable energy, operational carbon footprint as well as securing commerciality & local market relevance for the range presentation of the IKEA home furnishing range that supports customers to adopt healthier and more sustainable lifestyles. I am also in charge for securing the continuous sustainability performance at the existing stores as an internal reviewer. I am leading the development of IKEA India\'s commercial strategy for promotion of healthy & sustainable lifestyles at home as well as positioning of IKEA as a sustainable brand of choice. This includes an approach for in-store range presentation, commercial communication (the \"Green Thread\"), marketing campaigns, securing staff competence on IKEA home furnishing range and leveraging public relations and social media promotion opportunities. I am supporting the journey of IKEA India towards becoming a retailer using 100% renewable energy, which includes efforts to procure renewable energy from off-site solar & wind power plants through Power Purchase Agreements, generate own energy through rooftop solar systems and through procurement of Renewable Energy Certificates. I have also delivered a detailed feasibility study on the consumer market for residential rooftop solar solutions (Clean Energy Services). During the acute period of the COVID-19 pandemic, I had been part of the emergency community response efforts, including directly leading a project aimed at improving housing conditions of migrant construction in Bangalore who had been adversely affected. The project had delivered on its objective to provide safe and respectful housing conditions for workers and encourage Bangalore construction companies to adopt the housing solution we have developed.
