Heyo! I\'m Peter, a self-taught UX/Product Designer who nerds out over collaborating with diverse teammates, emerging tech, and creating social impact. Do you want to know how I use the power of design to make people o3o [oh-three-oh]? You may know of emoticons like xD-), or (°°)(if you know, you know), but o3o is a quirky one that means something is intriguing or eye-opening. When it comes to UX, it evokes the feeling of “I didn’t know my needs were being heard” or “I didn’t realize that I mattered.” It wasn’t until Discord, one of my favorite products, rebranded itself from being a gaming chat platform to a space where everyone can feel included and find communities. That’s when I knew I wanted to design experiences that made people feel special.*cracks knuckles* I busted open a new Notion document and spent (a long time) grinding my butt off designing a Discord experience that made people o3o. The rest is history. Product design is only one aspect of crafting an o3o experience. I\'m currently a UX designer at Code and Theory. Based in Maryland (DMV).
