A Microsoft certified Infrastructure Engineer with a background in all aspects of support, projects and system design. Over 9 years of experience gained across sectors including Finance, Technology, Retail, Sport, Education and Healthcare. In-depth knowledge and experience of Windows operating systems including Windows Server and Windows Extensive experience, designing, building and deploying workstations, physical servers and virtual machines using Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM). Solid experience of managing and administering Active Directory and Exchange and configuring Group Policy (GPO). Proficient in an assortment of infrastructure technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IIS, PXE and WDS. Ability to automate many administrative tasks utilising scripting languages such as WMI, VBScript and PowerShell. Sound understanding and experience of virtualization technologies such as Microsoft Hyper-V and VMWare ESX hypervisors and Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager and VMWare vCenter virtualization fabric management tools. Exposure to administering enterprise class SAN hardware such as Dell EquaLogic and HP 3PAR storage arrays. Sound understanding of iSCSI and FC interoperability with Windows high availability clusters and virtual host clusters. Experience of managing monthly patch cycle including deploying and testing Microsoft security updates using WSUS/SCCM. Able to successfully identify, troubleshoot and resolve windows hardware, software, and network issues with ease. Innovative and determined problem solver with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. Extensive experience in the use of IT service delivery methodologies such as the ITIL service operation framework including incident management, configuration management, change management and release management.
