I am the Regional Managing Partner of Wilson Elser\'s Albany Office. Wilson Elser is an international law firm with 45 offices in the United States, as well as affiliated offices around the globe. In New York, I lead a growing team of attorneys that practice in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Employment and Labor Law, Corporate and Business Law, Intellectual Property, Shareholder and Partnership disputes (“Business Divorces”); Protection of Trade Secrets; Non-Compete Agreements; Professional Liability Defense Litigation and Government Investigations and Regulatory compliance. I focus my practice on business-related litigation and corporate transactional matters. In this regard, I handle, litigate and resolve all types of complex business disputes for a wide-variety of clients in various industries. These matters include: breach of contract, “business divorces” and dissolutions, shareholder/member derivative lawsuits, unfair competition, non-compete agreements, employment law, real estate, construction, collections, investment, and professional liability. Additionally, I defend companies being investigated or sued by governmental agencies, or are simply dealing with regulatory hurdles. Further, I have experience initiating and defending bid protests regarding the procurement of government contracts.Further, I take pride in being actively involved in the community and helping those in need. Currently, I serve on two not-for-profit boards of directors: Empire State Youth Orchestra (ESYO) and Junior Achievement of Northeastern New York. In the past, I have served on the boards of the Capital District YMCA, and the Women’s Employment and Resource Center. I have also served on the Albany County Ethics Board and the Town of Bethlehem Ethics Board. I am also the co-Chair of my Firm’s National Commercial Litigation Practice Team, and just finished a 2-year term as Chair of DRI’s national Commercial Litigation Committee. I have also held multiple leadership roles in that Committee.
