ABOUT PETER KAUSCHKE
As a Director at PwC, I’m responsible for the business development in our Transportation & Logistics industry practice as well as our global Smart Mobility initiative where I focus on the mobility ecosystem and the opportunities it offers to automotive, energy, transportation and public sector organisations. I oversee various initiatives in strategic planning, targeting, client relationship management, thought leadership and knowledge and network management. I initiated and lead several thought leadership programmes, some of them in partnership with renowned research institutions like the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) and the EBS Business School (Germany). These programmes include ‘Value in motion – the new mobility ecosystem’,\'Smart Cities – Mobility ecosystems for a more sustainable future\',\'Transport and Logistics Barometer\',\'Transportation & Logistics 2030\',\'Urban logistics\', ‘Africa gearing up’,\'Shifting patterns\',\'M&A in Transportation & Logistics\'. After spending several years in applied research at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML) I joined PwC in 2001 to help build up the firm\'s industry programme in Germany, later expanding my activities to the international level leading to my current global role.
