ABOUT PETER THOMAS
I have over 10 years of experience leading renewable energy and sustainability projects across the UK and internationally. I currently oversee Aura Power\'s 3GW solar and BESS project pipeline in the UK and manage the ten person development team. I specialise in strategic development, team leadership, and project management. My expertise spans grid, land, planning, legal and commercial aspects of development with full oversight of projects from inception through to ready-to-build. I also serve as a volunteer director at Bristol Energy Network, helping set strategic objectives and ensuring legal and financial compliance. I have also completed a PhD at the University of Bristol and an MSc at the Centre for Alternative Technology where my research focused on access to energy in humanitarian relief contexts.
