ABOUT PETER LU
I\'m a co-founder and the COO at Jumpcut, an online education platform where courses look and feel like movies. Current e-learning platforms have course completion rates hovering around 10%. Our courses average 65%. We have three full length courses right now - about YouTube, digital products, and startups, and we\'re working towards building a new college for entrepreneurs. Before Jumpcut, I was a consultant at Bain & Co, a global management consulting firm, focused on the technology and utilities sector; before that, I worked at Innovations for Poverty Action, a non-profit focused on fighting poverty, in the Philippines and Uganda. I graduated magna cum laude from Yale University in 2011, with a degree in Psychology and significant additional coursework in Economics and Creative Writing.
