Overall responsibility for the strategic direction and effective delivery of the information technology (IT) department’s initiatives Setting the company’s technical roadmap in order to develop and support Monex USA’s growth strategy Developing a global FX trading and payments platform delivering value-added services to clients across the globe Responsible for USA’s internal and client technology, networks, business continuity, and data Management Source and maintain all internal systems (e.g, trading platforms & associated support systems, etc.), client related technology, and communications technology and services Effectively deliver outsourced IT support Ensure that Monex USA complies with its legal and regulatory requirements Ensure effective security and processes are in place Ensure the ongoing effectiveness of Monex’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP) & Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) ensuring ongoing operation in the case of minor/major incidents which can impact Monex’s day to day operations Respond to regulatory requests concerning IT infrastructure, software, IT policies, and cybersecurity, as well as internal or third-party technology audits (e.g, penetration tests.)
