I help teams, innovators, and educators simplify complex ideas — and engage their audience — through visual facilitation.My name is Peter Durand, an artist, educator, and visual facilitator based in Houston, Texas.As the Founder of Alphachimp, LLC, I create hand-drawn illustrations, animations, and scribe videos that make ideas more accessible for corporate clients, startups, universities, and healthcare organizations.Thanks to my artistic and adventurous family, I was born in Kenya, grew up in the green hills of East Tennessee, and studied art and design in the United States, France, and Poland. Because of this, I cannot imagine a life without traveling, learning, and creating with others.    I’m Peter Durand, a Houston-based visual facilitator, graphic recorder, and the founder of Alphachimp LLC.For more than 20 years, I’ve worked with leaders, facilitators, educators, and innovation teams to visualize strategy, map systems, and create alignment during workshops, conferences, and high-stakes meetings.Through visual facilitation, live graphic recording, and workshop design, I translate ideas into images that people can see, remember, and act on.
