My passion for planning and emergency management started in scouting while planning large gatherings for most of the state of Texas. With my educational experience from the University of North Texas I was able to seal my passion and combine it with theoretical and practical knowledge to become an innovative professional in the emergency management field.

   I lead the city’s efforts to build a more resilient and prepared community. I oversee the development and implementation of emergency plans, hazard mitigation strategies, training and exercises, and multi-agency coordination before, during, and after emergencies.I work closely with city departments, regional partners, state and federal agencies, and our community members to ensure that Greeley is ready to respond to any crisis—from natural disasters and public health threats to major special events and infrastructure emergencies.In this role, I also advise executive leadership, activate and manage the Emergency Operations Center when needed, and champion a culture of preparedness across the organization.
