I have been fortunate throughout my career to solve important problems for a variety of leading companies and work as part of outstanding teams to deliver exceptional business value. CFOs today face incredible pressure to find growth, increase profitability and meet ever-changing stakeholder expectations, all against a backdrop of slowing economic growth, volatile financial markets and geopolitical turmoil. As CFOs confront these external challenges, they also face internal pressure to control costs, retain and develop talent, migrate to the cloud and retire legacy technology debt, and harness growing volumes of data. Over the past 25+ years, I have worked with CFOs and their key leaders to improve the performance of their finance organizations and deliver sustained business value which typically includes accelerated growth, lower cost, increased earnings and cash flow, optimized working capital and financial risk, reduced financial statement and operational risk and an enhanced experience for the finance workforce.I help my clients realize value by planning, designing and executing transformational change in Finance which may include changes to operating models and service delivery models; redesign of organizational structures and upskilling of talent; redesign of finance processes; selection and implementation of technology; enhancements to business planning, budgeting and forecasting processes; and optimization of cash, liquidity and working capital.Over the course of my career, I have practiced across most industry sectors, but focus on Consumer Markets clients including CPG, Agribusiness, Retail, Transportation & Logistics and Hospitality & Leisure. Much of my work over the years has been performed in the context of deals including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures, supporting both strategic buyers/sellers and private equity fund managers.In all my work, I bring a rigorous, fact-based approach to problem solving. I am skilled at making sense of complex solutions and communicating in a clear, concise and compelling manner. I bring a calm, confident and thoughtful approach to build trusted relationships with my clients and internal colleagues, but tailor my style and approach to best fit my clients, the situation and the dynamics of the team to ensure that my clients and teams achieve their desired outcomes.
