Most people know my 25 years at American Express by the products I left behind - leading the launch and growth of several new businesses, including the company’s International Consumer Lending business, the Amex Gift Card, and the inauguration of the lounge strategy that led to AmEx’s Global Airport Lounge program.But I don’t think my true legacy is found in a product or a floor plan. It’s in the people I’ve helped and developed along the way. After nearly three decades in the \"Blue Box\", at Avenues; The World School, and through over a decade of advising C-Suite executives, I realized my greatest innovation was helping people discover their strengths and motivators, and to navigate their most exciting, and sometimes difficult, career transitions.The Corporate Reality at 40+: The landscape changes once you hit 40.
