ABOUT PETER ALLEN

When companies are growing fast, leadership needs change. Entrepreneurs need to become managers; founders need to become executives. Leaders need to take on new roles, new responsibilities, new ways of thinking. To quote Marshall Goldsmith,\"What got you here won\'t get you there.\"I know this from experience. I founded Google University when Google had employees and was inventing products right and left. I built the people and organizational development function at Agoda.com (the Asia-based subsidiary of Booking Holdings) during a period of 300% growth. At McKinsey, I consulted on strategy and taught it to new consultants.Now I help leaders and companies navigate growth. I work as an executive coach, leadership development advisor, and organizational effectiveness consultant with scaling tech and finance companies. I coach executives one-on-one through transitions, design and deliver leadership programs, and help organizations build the talent and people management processes they need to scale.My background combines operating experience building people systems at Google and Agoda and serving as chief people officer in private equity at APL Group, strategic thinking from McKinsey and Wharton, talent management experience at Standard Chartered Bank, and intellectual depth from teaching at Princeton, Yale, and my Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. I\'m a certified executive coach (ICF PCC) who understands both the people challenges and the business pressures of fast-growing companies.
