I am currently at Ashland Chemicals as a Operations Manager. My team consists of three engineers and 27 union operators. I have completed several projects throughout the continuous and batch areas to improve the safety of several unit operations as well as optimize production. My past experiences include: Senior Process Engineer at Ashland where I supported day to day operations of several process units to achieve safety, environmental, quality, and productivity goals. Product Optimization Engineer group at Baker Hughes I traveled to client facilities to service technical and develop chemical application programs. Manufacturing intern at Baker Hughes where I was in charge of several projects that allowed me to gain invaluable manufacturing engineering knowledge. I completed projects that: provided cost savings, addressed safety issues, paved ways for improved equipment integrity, and assisted the logistics of the manufacturing facility. Maintenance employee at Pellerin Milnor where I was able to help operators on the production floor with day to day issues. This allowed me to learn the functionality of an industrial plant\'s production line, along with strengthening my communication skills across all levels of a company. My soft skills include, but not limited: leadership, teamwork, verbal & written communication, adaptability, enthusiastic, motivated, and safety orientated. I long term goal is to make a career in business/product development management. By using past technical experience and understanding a company\'s business processes I would serve as a great asset to bring lasting internal and external partnerships to grow the company. I believe my experience, skill set, and passion will fit in optimizing the value chain of a business.
