   Responsibilities (Promoted to Director from Manager, July, 2021) • Lead a team to proactively manage backbone network capacity and network engineering (MPLS and Transport) • Prepare and communicate accurate forecasts and identify trends, in appropriate manner • Responsible for triggering CAPEX projects to augment capacity in a very efficient manner so as to optimize the timing of planned investment(s) • Implement action plan to optimize CAPEX Investments w/r/t timing and scope and leverage economies of scale • Responsible for all Pre-Sale capacity and design review with the Sales Engineering and Network Engineering teams • Coordinate with all respective departments and enable high degree of collaboration • Coordinate and collaborate with IT to develop tools to automate information gathering and forecasting • Manage and lead team to broaden coverage and reach of Capacity Planning Accomplishments • Successfully project managed the migration of over 900 DS3 and 900 DS1 circuits from md\'ed Lucent DACS IV to Tellabs Titan and sunsetted the Lucent DACS out of the core network- Project Managed the Capacity Augment to the Metro-E network on time and within budget. 31 Core Nodes with the associated facilities were added to the network within a six month interval. • Project Managed the Capacity Augment to the Tellabs DCS network on time and within budget. Five High Density shelves with the associated facilities were added to the network within a eight month interval. • Planned and implemented Network Optimization on the Metro-E Network. 1,198 Gb of bandwidth was saved in the core and access network. And the addition of the removal of zero-usage circuits yielded a 48.028Gb of bandwidth recovered. • Mechanized and added 16 monthly reports to the Core Capacity Planning library of reports, providing up to date traffic reports and six month trending intervals. And implemented the capacity reports into Tableau data visualization tool.
