ABOUT PETER WHITTALL

Peter is an international business man and passionate ‘techie’ who has held board and global senior leadership roles with a number of global companies which include ICI, Shell, Unilever and Rentokil Initial working within the Food Manufacturing, Public Health & Environmental Services and Food Ingredient Sectors.He has worked with virtually every type of food preservation system and high care factory environment and held technical accountability for an impressive portfolio of well-known brands. He is most proud of leading the team that invented and launched the global ice cream Solero and put the chocolate on our Magnum. Since retiring from paid employment, Peter has sat on the University of Bristol\'s University\'s Research Ethics Committee and most recently worked with both local and National Citizens Advice as Chair of N&W Gloucestershire and as member of National the KPI panel and co-designer of Customer Service / Quality Processes for the new membership offer respectively,Profile:A strategic and conceptual thinker who thrives on ensuring operational / functional activities are aligned with overall business strategy.A process thinker who re-engineers business processes by creating high performance teams across organisational and geographic boundaries to achieve new levels of business performance.As a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and technological networker, Peter\'s passion is to find ways of stimulating international cooperation resulting in not only the identification and application of breakthrough technology but also the creation and rapid commercialisation, deployment and exploitation of outputs across the globe.
