ABOUT PETER WHITMORE

Highly experienced offshore crane operator. Projects include, Heavy lift and Topside Construction, Decommissioning, Subsea construction, Diving, Cable Laying, Trenching, Drilling and Production. I have worked mainly on Crane Ships, Barges, Diving Vessels and ROV Construction Vessels. I have been involved in the planning and lifting of structures in water depths to over meters. These include, Sub-Sea Templates, Well Heads, Xmas Trees, Protection Covers, Emergency Shutdown Valves, Welding Habitats, Handling Frames, Spool Pieces, Jumpers, and many more. Apart from the Vessels above that I have worked on, I also have experience on Semi Sub & jack Up Drilling Rigs, Fixed & floating Production Platforms and accommodation. I am competent with almost all aspects of offshore crane operations such as over boarding heavy lifts from deck to subsea and lifts from floating structures to fixed structures, handling drilling equipment to and from the drill floor, transfers of personnel, working subsea with Divers and ROV\'s, off loading and back loading supply vessels, heavy top side and deep water lifts, and working with multi-national crews in global locations. I am also familiar with both Loler and Norsok rigging & lifting Regulations and have a good understanding of the Spanish language. Specialties: I have been operating Offshore Cranes for over 30 years. I hold both Sparrows Stage 3 plus Norwegian G4 & G5 Crane Operators Licenses. I also have in date HERTL & HLO expires Feb 2019Experienced in Fixed Boom, Telescopic, and Knuckle Boom Cranes.Cranes Include: Aker, Effer, Huisman, Hagguland, Hydra Lift Knuckle Boom, Hydra Marine Knuckle Boom, TTS Knuckle Boom Liebher, Kenz, National, National Oil Well Knuckle Boom, Storrit & Pit, Sea King, Sherwin. now operating ton Derrick barge crane in Malaysia and Thailand
