About Peter Atkinson
I am currently transitioning out of the Air Force after about 6.5 years and have a TS/SCI Security Clearance. During my time in the military, I served as a Cyberspace Operations Officer where I successfully managed and supervised small to large technical/operation teams to meet strategic goals. From here I gained valuable knowledge maintaining and defending information networks. My experience also continued to grow in IT project and program management, developing thorough deliverables and meeting critical project deadlines in fast-paced environments. During my career I have authored and revised numerous cyber security documents to support programs, projects, procedures, and operations. I have also dedicated much of my time to continuous process improvement and lean six sigma principles. I love working with others and being part of a team. I value each person and truly want to get to know them as well as understand how they operate and what their personal strengths and abilities are.
