I live the intercultural experience daily and have done so all my life. For me it means being aware of my personal culture and being curious to learn and understand the new, see similarities and differences, share stories, connect with people, create community and build peace. Born in the former Soviet Union, raised in Central Asia and Germany, then studied English Lit. and Theology in the UK. Currently I teach on Intercultural Issues at Hans-Böckler-Berufskolleg in Cologne.
