   Managing Director | Brooklyn, NY | October 2022 - PresentGeneral Manager | Brooklyn, NY | January 2021 – October 2022Director of Finance | Brooklyn, NY | Sept 2016 – December 2020• Manage and oversee all aspects of operational and client-facing finance for an independent booking agency representing 400 artists.• Produce and distribute tour accounting statements for all agency artists, ushering settlements from client approval to payment resolution.• Advise artist and business management on manifold aspects of tour finance: escrow advances, individual show settlements, income reporting, IRS compliance, and Central Withholding Agreements.• Build and monitor yearly and project-specific budgets, perform monthly revenue projections, develop cash flow analyses, negotiate agent employment agreements, and analyze vendor solutions across all aspects of agency operation – banking, insurance, travel, HR, legal, marketing, and office rental agreements.• Lead the application, forgiveness, fulfillment, and close out processes of vital public loan and grant programs - Paycheck Protection Program and Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG)- offered through the Small Business Administration (SBA).• Prepare documentation for federal and state tax filings, including corporate income returns and non-resident artist withholding obligations (Forms 1042-S).• Execute all A/R + A/P processes, spearhead annual escrow account reconciliation, approve and balance all accounts in QuickBooks Online for P/L and balance sheet reporting.• Evaluate and administer hiring and compensation decisions, payroll and 401(k) maintenance, and employee fringe benefits.• Manage, mentor, and direct the training of all non-agent staff, and implement updates to policies and procedures germane to their workflows.• Conceive of and assess growth tactics, key metrics, and strategic business opportunities for the agency at large.
