I am a Facilities Management professional with over 14 years of experience leading hard FM, maintenance, and infrastructure operations in high-risk, customer-critical environments.Currently working as a Facilities Manager within the leisure and attractions sector, I specialise in operational excellence, statutory compliance, contractor management, and health & safety leadership. I bring a strong technical foundation from my background in electrical engineering and construction, combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to managing complex estates, teams, and supply chains.Health, Safety & Environmental leadership is central to my role. I am highly experienced in CDM 2015 compliance, RAMS and permit-to-work systems, statutory inspections, audits, and risk-based maintenance planning. I am passionate about embedding a positive safety culture, reducing operational risk, and ensuring compliance across fire safety, electrical safety, Legionella, PUWER, LOLER and confined space activities. I regularly engage with senior leadership to provide clear, evidence-based advice on risk, compliance and improvement planning.I lead and develop multi-disciplinary FM teams, working collaboratively with stakeholders and contractors to deliver safe, resilient and high-performing environments. I take pride in strong governance, accountability, and attention to detail, while maintaining a practical, solutions-driven mindset in live operational settings.Continuous improvement underpins how I work. I actively apply Lean and asset management principles to improve reliability, efficiency, and value, using CAFM and asset management systems to support informed decision-making, long-term planning, and operational resilience.Alongside my professional role, I am committed to ongoing development and lifelong learning.
