The world of healthcare is rapidly becoming digitized, but Ricoh\'s experience in nearly one-third of North American hospitals suggests that EMR systems and eHealth initiatives have gaps in providing desired outcomes. Leveraging unstructured data capture (e.g. loose sheet scanning) and information mobility strategies, Ricoh Healthcare systematically removes paper and information choke points from hospital system environments, while supporting information security and privacy frameworks.
