ABOUT PETER TALIAFERRO
I am a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Journalism. Throughout my college career, I was fortunate to have gained a plethora of experience in marketing and recruiting for the university.I served as assistant director of Publicity for the University Program Council, a programming board that puts on free events for students with a budget of over I served also as the vice president of the organization and I am in charge of the daily workings of the organization as whole. This position has helped me grow as a leader and has helped me learn to take initiative. As assistant director, I was able to learn to delegate tasks as well as strategies for publicity and marketing.I am also very passionate about recruiting students and pursuing higher education so I have worked with the university as an orientation leader for international and domestic first year students entering Auburn University. I love meeting new people and learning about the experiences of others. I would love to talk to anyone or answer more questions regarding my experience. I formally served as a fundraising analyst for Targeted Victory, a political & digital ad marketing agency located outside of Washington DC, in Arlington, Virginia. I’m now a Senior Member Services Associate in management consulting with World 50 in Atlanta.
