ABOUT PETER STIRLING

I was given the opportunity to build a career at Mitie and have taken full advantage by ensuring I constantly challenge myself to progress further within the company. I have managed to create three separate finance admin teams from scratch and have a total of 40 people under me who are responsible for generating revenue of 50M for North contracts, 30M for Midlands contracts and 45M for the NHS per annum. Achievements and Responsibilities• Day to day responsibility for the Regional Financial Administration Team• Ensure that contracts are correctly and promptly set up and terminated• Ensure adherence to the Company Operation Procedures, with regards to Financial Administration both within regional offices and on sites with dedicated administration• Ensure that all relevant data bases and portfolio information is accurate and up to date, e.g. portfolio labour costing data• Provide adhoc management information• Started with a team of 6 administrators and 1 supervisor for all contracts covering the North of England, which grew to 11 and 1 supervisor• Transferred all the billing information and contract knowledge for 100+ contracts from the Mitie office in the Midlands to Manchester and built a new team of 8 administrators and 1 supervisor from scratch• Transferred all energy contracts and knowledge from the Mitie office in Portsmouth and set up in Manchester under a newly hired Energy Administrator• Set up JLL specific team which comprised of 2 administrators and 1 supervisor, due to high level focus from Mitie group in this contract• £60M NHS contract won in April 2016. Built up a team of 15 administrators and one supervisor from scratch to deliver more than £2M a month• Part of SAP design and Implementation team involved with the designing of a new BUI• Setting up of billing processes to ensure all costs are captured
