Peter brings extensive experience with both new and existing buildings, especially complex projects mixing both new construction and renovation. He experience includes seismic evaluations and retrofits, in particular historic buildings and projects with advanced performance requirements. Peter is the current president of the Seattle Chapter of the Structural Engineers Association of Washington, is past chair of SEAW\'s Existing Building Committee, and serves on SEAW’s Earthquake Engineering Committee. He has been actively involved in building code development, contributing to or co-authoring standards and provisions for technical committees in the industry such as FEMA, ASCE, ATC, and NEHRP.
