WORK HISTORY
Mechanical Technical Authority @Stork
Employed within Storks On-site Machining and Bolting division in Dyce, Aberdeen. Responsible for ensuring all in-situ machining operations are conducted safely, competently and to the clients satisfaction, I have over thirty years experience working in the in-situ machining sector worldwide for various companies and have a wealth of mechanical and technical knowledge on the maintenance and operation of in-situ and machine shop tooling, I am responsible for innovations and development of tooling which can be introduced to our market place and ultimately benefit our clients, I was recently approached by a Major North sea operator to design and manufacture a bespoke grinding machine tool, which was to be lowered internally within 780mm Dia. liners from their asset down to -27m subsea and grind weld protrusions which were preventing the installation of a subsea pump, the scope was believed to be a first in the North sea and was completed successfully and to the satisfaction of our client.
