As Shift Team Leader on the Kittiwake Platform, I provide day-to-day leadership to the offshore operations team, ensuring safe, optimised operation of the process plant and associated systems to meet production and environmental targets. I serve as Permit Coordinator and Area Authority under the Control of Work system, overseeing safe work execution, plant integrity, and effective planning of 28-day and 7-day maintenance and operational activities.I coordinate closely with discipline leads, contractors, and vendors to align preventive maintenance, manage SIMOPS, and resolve complex operational or equipment issues. I am responsible for maintaining high-quality operational reporting, shift handovers, documentation, and ensuring compliance with the installation Safety Case, Petrofac Lifesaving Rules, and all statutory requirements.The role includes supporting shutdowns and projects, reviewing modifications, contributing to technician appraisals, and leading training and competence assessments of personnel. I also provide cover for the Control Room Operator and deputise for the Operations Supervisor when required.
