About Peter Shovlin

I am a driven, team-oriented leader that believes trust and The Golden Rule are of the upmost importance. My day-to-day tasks range from coaching and leading employees, developing and maintaining relationships with current and potential clients, and communicating project goals, schedule, and budget. I am responsible for the oversight and management of the project design and permitting process, organizing and tracking project design schedules, coordinating with sales, estimating, and consultants to ensure the project design meets the owner\'s vision. My engineering work experience includes design calculations, equipment selections, preparing studies and reports including probable construction costs, system comparisons, detailed system designs and technical specifications, shop drawings, code requirements and research, and field surveys/inspections. I have experience in a wide range of building applications, including K-12 schools, colleges, hospitals, retail buildings, office buildings, warehouses, manufacturing and industrial plants, and hotels. I have also have expertise in sustainable design principals and insight into energy conservation and green building design, and I am a LEED® Accredited Professional.
